Deathly Hallows is almost here, and we're hoping to feed your obsession with this month's issue of The Anvil: Check out our delicious fanfic and fanart and for your perusal, along with some delectable debates and icons. - News

- We are sad to announce that Witherwings will be closing in August, due to lack of interest. This also, theoretically, ends the Book Six Project and Project Harmony. The Anvil is looking to form its own message board, and will have a revamp of its website come August.

- The Harmony Podcast was updated once this month on June 20th. To download HP Minicast #2, go here. The transcript is now available for reading, here.

- Dan Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint will be making various TV appearances to promote their new movie The Order of the Phoenix. HPANA has a full list of dates and shows here.

- Early reviews of The Order of the Phoenix are available here.

- TIME magazine is featuring a special section on DH in it's June 29th issue. Sections include "The Epic Saga of the Seventh Manuscript", "Harry Potter and the Sinister Spoilers", and the handy-dandy "Curing Harry Potter Withdrawal". The issue will be on news-stands until July 5th.

- In an update on the Scholastic poll "Who Winds Up With Whom?", Scholastic released a statement on June 26th saying, "While a majority of 56% of fans believe that Harry will end up with Hermione, 20% believe that Ron will end up with Hermione and 19% believe that Harry will end up with Ginny." - HTV (Harmony Television) is hosting a Deathly Hallows Fanvid Trailer contest. To view the rules, go here. The deadline is July 13th at Midnight (PST).

- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.net is hosting a contest for those who write "the best ending" and "the most accurate" ending. There are cash prizes, and the contest ends July 20th. To view details and to enter, go here.

- A psychology professor at Muhlenberg College in Pennsylvania is putting together a study on the release of Deathly Hallows. He specializes in addiction, and would like to examine the "addictive nature of non-drug related phenomena". The study, called "Harry Potter and the Impact on Muggles", will be a series of four surveys that can be answered by fans around the world via the web before the release, and after the release. If you would like to participate, you can access Part One of the survery here.

- Harmonic_Erotic is a new Livejournal community for Harry/Hermione Smut.

- HHr_Challenge is a new community for fanfiction prompts. new prompts start in August. To join the community, go here.

- cinnamon_kisses posted a fandom survery in her livejournal about Harmonian fandom participation after DH. To take part, please vote here.
